Refund policy

1. Overview

Game Room Lab LLC ("Game Room Lab," "we," "our," or "us") partners with leading manufacturers to offer premium game room and home entertainment products. This policy explains when and how returns, refunds, and cancellations are handled for purchases made through gameroomlab.com.

Due to the size, weight, and freight-shipping nature of many items, our policies differ from standard parcel-shipped ecommerce. Return eligibility is limited once an order has been processed and shipped. Most items are not eligible for return once shipped unless they arrive damaged or defective. Where returns are permitted, applicable fees and shipping costs are subject to manufacturer terms and conditions.

We encourage you to review all product details, specifications, and delivery requirements before completing your purchase.

2. Cancellations

Cancellation requests must be submitted as soon as possible after placing your order.

  • Orders canceled before preparation for shipment may be eligible for a full refund. Some exclusions apply.
  • Orders canceled after preparation for shipment are subject to a 25% restocking fee based on the product price per item in addition to any applicable teardown or handling costs.
  • Orders canceled after shipment is in transit are treated as returns and will incur outbound shipping costs, return shipping costs, and applicable restocking fees.

Orders placed for items not immediately available are subject to these same terms once fulfillment timelines are confirmed.

3. Returns

Due to the size and freight nature of our products, returns are generally not accepted once an order has shipped unless the item arrives damaged or defective.

In limited cases where a manufacturer allows a return:

  • Returns must be requested and approved within 7 days of delivery.
  • Items must be unused, in original packaging, and in resalable condition.
  • Returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee, return shipping costs, and original outbound shipping costs.

Any manufacturer-specific return conditions will be noted on the product page.

4. How to Request a Return

To request a return or report an issue, please contact us at support@gameroomlab.com with your order number and a brief description of your request.

All returns must be reviewed and approved in advance. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.

5. Damaged or Defective Items

Please inspect all deliveries carefully upon arrival.

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please notify us within 24 hours of delivery. To report an issue, email support@gameroomlab.com and include:

  • Your order number.
  • Photos clearly showing the damage or issue.
  • A brief description of the problem.

Please retain all packaging materials until the claim process is complete.

We will work with the manufacturer to determine the appropriate resolution, which may include replacement parts, repair, or full product replacement.

6. Freight Delivery and Inspection Requirements

Many products ship via freight carriers due to their size and weight. You are responsible for:

  • Inspecting your shipment at the time of delivery.
  • Noting any visible damage on the delivery receipt before signing.
  • Noting “Subject to Inspection” on the delivery receipt if there is no visible damage.
  • Reporting any concealed damage within 24 hours.

Failure to follow these steps may limit our ability to file a freight claim on your behalf. Issues not reported within the required inspection window may not qualify for return, replacement, or warranty consideration.

7. Refused Deliveries

If you refuse delivery of an order that has shipped and is not damaged or defective, the order will be treated as a return. You will be responsible for applicable restocking fees, outbound shipping costs, and return shipping costs.

8. Delivery Access Responsibility

You are responsible for ensuring that purchased items will fit through all necessary access points prior to delivery, including doorways, hallways, staircases, and elevators. Delivery failures due to access limitations are not considered valid grounds for return or refund, and any additional costs incurred will be the customer's responsibility.

9. Installation-Related Conditions

For products requiring or including professional installation:

  • Returns are not be permitted once installation has been completed.
  • Some products require professional installation to maintain manufacturer warranty coverage.
  • Any such requirements will be noted on the product page.

Installer labor, service calls, or return visits are not covered under freight or warranty claims unless explicitly stated.

10. Warranty

All products sold by Game Room Lab are covered by a manufacturer's warranty. Warranty terms, duration, and coverage vary by product and manufacturer and will be detailed on the applicable product page or in the documentation included with your order.

Most warranty claim processes will be handled through our team, who will submit and process claims on your behalf. In limited cases, one or more suppliers may require a direct manufacturer RMA process, in which case we will provide guidance and support throughout. Even when a claim is processed directly with a manufacturer, our team remains available to assist you.

11. Exchanges

Due to the size and freight nature of our products, exchanges are not accepted unless the item arrives damaged or defective. Limited exceptions may apply on a case-by-case basis only in the event a manufacturer allows an exchange.

In the event of an exchange, the customer may be subject to restocking fees, return shipping costs, and original outbound shipping costs. Any manufacturer-specific exchange conditions and allowances will be noted on the product page.

12. Refund Processing

If a return is approved, refunds will be issued after the product has been received and inspected at the manufacturer's warehouse. Refunds will be processed to the original payment method. Please allow 5 to 10 business days for processing once the return has been received and approved, depending on your financial institution.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Return and Refund Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, product offerings, or legal requirements. Updates will be effective immediately upon posting to this page.

14. Legal Rights

This policy is intended to provide clear guidelines regarding returns, cancellations, and refunds. It does not limit or replace any rights you may have under applicable U.S. consumer protection laws.
